My daughter had a sudden and heart-wrenching break up with her longtime boyfriend, and found herself basically homeless. While looking for another place to live, she was staying with her cousin, then her friend, then her cousin again..... Did I mention she was also in the middle of opening a business? It became clear to me that she needed her own temporary place until she could find a permanent home, a place where she could spread out and do the work she needed to do in order to open her business on time. Enter At Home Inn Chicago!  We were we were able to stay at a beautiful condo in a great location (Clark and Diversey) convenient to anything she needed. Carson was especially  helpful and accommodating, quick to respond to any question we had. Thanks to At Home Inn Chicago, my daughter's  business opened successfully and on time! She was able to feel "at home" until we moved her into her new apartment a few days ago. We can't thank them enough!

We wanted to thank you for your hospitality during our extended stay at the Damen apartment.  The kids LOVED the "vacation" house while we were in transition between our old and new home.  They continue to comment on it when we drive by.

We tried to leave it as we found it and hope to be able to refer out of town friends to its availability in lieu of a hotel given its proximity and its comfort!

Thank you again,

Jason Kane

After reviewing the numerous options of locations to stay at in Chicago I decided on this home. The price to stay in this large home compared to other properties I had looked at is incomparable. I loved that there were three bathrooms (which was ideal for three women). The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable (I'm quite picky about my beds). There were more than enough towels and extra linens AND since there was a washer and drier in the home you could wash whatever you used. The kitchen (while we didn't put it to use due to all the restaurants within walking distance of the home) was absolutely gorgeous. All in all I would stay here everytime I visit Chicago and would definitely recommend it to everyone else." -

"This apartment lived up to our expectations and more. It is completely remodeled inside, gorgeous kitchen, hardwood floors, all new furniture, washer/dryer. Easy access in and out. It is in the northernmost part of Lincoln Park, on the border with Lakeview, but it is a fun neighborhood and public transportation is very easily accessible. We took the L or bus downtown many times. Management was very easy to deal with. One of our best apartment rental experiences in any city!"

"We had an awesome experience, very nice and cozy place in the heart of wicker park. No disturbance from anyone and the staff of At home inn was very cooperative and was available upon request. The place was only 20 minutes away from downtown Chicago, 2 minutes away from blue line train station. We had a car so they had provided us two park car garage. I Would love to come back and stay here in future. :)"

"The location was perfect for availability to local restaurants, shopping, and St. Clements Catholic Church - directly across the street. Matt handled the visit efficiently, promptly and professionally. If we needed anything - it was taken care of promptly. FREE off street parking was a HUGE PERK for Chicago. The home slept 6 very comfortably and the amenities were perfect. There is one bathroom, but it is large and we worked well with our party of 7 to orchestrate through. The washer and dryer were appreciated for our large party and long visit. The home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I would definitely recommend."

"My friends and I were visiting for St. Patrick's Day Weekend. As someone originally from Chicago, the location of the place is absolutely perfect to be able to get anywhere you need. Inside, the place was nice and spacious. Could not have been happier!"

"The apartment was beautiful and we enjoyed the neighborhood. Great local restaurants, easy access to the train (and all of Chicago). Excellent local coffee shop. The apartment was well kept (other than for a beautiful antique light in the dining room which we could not turn on). One small quibble, I like to cook and would have appreciated a larger frying pan and/or a tray for broiling. I loved the place and will stay there again."

"Amazing service and lovely apartment, thanks for having us! Carson and Matt were very professional, extremely responsive, and helpful.

Very clean, and free parking was a huge plus (we usually spend $50 a night on parking alone!!)

Highly recommend using the fellas at athhomeinn, Bravo!"

"We met another family here, and we each rented one of the units. We found them to be very clean and well stocked. My daughters loved the second bedroom with the two twin beds. It was almost magical for them!

I appreciated the ability to do laundry on the basement level. The outside patio area was lots of fun, too. Actually about a month prior to this, we had stayed on Michigan Avenue, and be preferred this housing option. True, it is a little bit of work to get downtown, but we appreciated having the extra space excellent accommodations. Also, it is very nice to be able to cook."
